About the Author

John Floyd is a humorist, speaker and author. He first did stand-up comedy in a school talent show when he was only eight years old and he has been making people laugh ever since. For more than two decades John has performed for over a million and a half people all over the world. Along the way he has worked with every comedian from Milton Berle, Soupy Sales and Tommy Chong to Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle and Jamie Foxx. He has also opened for such music acts as Michael Bolton, Frankie Valli, Chubby Checker, Herman’s Hermits, Styx and Martina McBride. John says the men in his family have always been funny, he’s just the first one to do it on a stage instead of a front porch. He lives with his wife Ann and their dog ButterBean in North Carolina.
